personal message to spock before captive’s log.
i waited for you to rescue me spock.
you never came.
official captive’s log.
location: star wars hospital and torture center.
captive: tammy j
time of capture: 0 9 hundred 15 o’clock am on morning of thursday sept 19
final release of torture chamber: 0 7 hundred o’clock pm on friday night sept 20
captive accompanied by favorite marine. however immediately taken away from marine to first torture chamber.
1st vampire appeared to draw captive’s blood.
they have not taken enough lately. only the day before captive was instructed to go to an off premises lab to meet more vampires to give more blood. apparently not enough. these people have a voracious appetite. and they didn’t like certain levels they saw in the pre op blood report taken on the 12th of september. the captive thinks it odd they waited til the day before surgery to check . . . but realizes they keep track of a lot of captives besides herself.
captive is taken to a special room. hooked up to heart monitors. on a good day captive thinks with all the wires attached to her that she might even pick up a signal from cleveland. apparently the ekg is abby~normal. the captive thinks to herself “what’s new?”
a blood pressure monitor is attached to her right arm and pumps away every 15 minutes.
blood pressure is not pleasing the torturers. the chief torturer who is called the anesthesiologist says in an angry tone out loud so that even the captive can hear him ” THIS IS NOT SURGICAL PRESSURE. GET HER CARDIOLOGIST ON THE PHONE. NOW! “
captive glances at machine reading in plain sight ~ 203/190. no indeed. captive thinks she might as well have a stroke now and save all these torturers the trouble.
surgery scheduled for 0 10:30 hundred o’clock a.m. has now been delayed until 0 11:30 hundred o’clock a.m. by chief torturer.
in spite of the circumstances the captive secretly falls in love with the head torturer. he is a man who is in charge. it gives her a protected feeling. when he says “JUMP” all the little scampering torturers with their needles and masks on say “HOW HIGH?”
special medication is given with more needles.
now captive is taken into another little chamber. there are lots of chambers on this torture ship.
this torturer’s job is to find a vein for an IV so that the vampires can more easily give chemicals to the captive.
the captive has always been a very small person. throughout her life. apparently now though . . . the only thing really small about her is her veins. they are tiny. and apparently invisible.
the torturer tries 6 times in the right arm. drilling for oil? well. it’s being done all over the world.
and on the left arm she tries 4 times and winds up putting it in the back of the left hand.
now the captive has a new form of tattoos. it’s called blue abstract art. it’s all up and down her right arm and left arm.
the marine is allowed into one of the little torture chambers to ‘visit’ for a moment before captive is taken to the main chamber.
this visit is wonderful. he is calm. and strong. and just his presence is helping the captive’s dangerous blood pressure.
now the captive is wheeled into the main torture chamber.
it is now 0 1:30 hundred o’clock p.m. in the afternoon. finally the main torture begins.
this captive has no doubt messed up many people’s schedules. she only hopes they don’t hold it against her.
the main torture was supposed to start at 0 10:30 hundred o’clock in the morning. it’s now afternoon.
it is cold in there.
the anesthesiologist is actually in a little better mood but still very gruff with people. he looks down at the captive and says “i’ve got you. you’re going to be just fine.” the captive thinks she might just have a friend in there.
that is the last thing the captive recalls. until someone in a room called recovery is trying to get her to wake up.
she has been in the torture chamber 3 hours and the recovery chamber for 2 and a half hours.
the marine is probably on a starbucks high by now.
the rest of the report is not terribly pretty.
blood pressure still unreasonably high. last reading upon release was 180/90. anyone else would be in the stroke area of the ship.
they seem to happily think it is improving. well. anything would be an improvement from 203/190 i guess.
in the middle of thursday night one of the night torturers came in and cheerfully announced that the captive would receive a shot in her belly that would thin her blood and would hurt quite a lot ~ but that it would soon be over. the cheerfulness of the torturers is an odd anomaly. she doesn’t know if anomaly is the right word for this report. she is tired now. but cheerfulness while giving a painful BELLY SHOT? the captive would like to give a few belly shots to some people now herself.
in spite of three different medication chemicals injected into the IV the captive still manages to throw up violently twice.
whether damage to the inner sutures is done even the torturers don’t know. now they awaken her for signs of swelling and redness.
the torturers do not have to torture the captive anymore. it appears she has taken over the job of SELF~TORTURE.
but what goes down apparently must come up in that place . . . even if it’s only broth and medication.
the captive is now at home. resting easily. well. easily is a very broad term.
so make that . . . the captive is now at home. resting.
she is supposed to take her own blood pressure every few hours and if it is not acceptable then she has a special little pill to take.
the captive is still fighting severe nausea.
she is oddly excited that she may lose lots of weight through this torture method very quickly! there are advantages even to torture apparently.
the captive thinks that if anything else goes wrong with her human body . . . it’s going to be a case of que sera sera.
no more star wars torture chambers in her future.
captive’s log complete.
oddly enough . . .
the captive is suddenly drained of all energy now. well. no doubt she’s drained of copious amounts of blood also . . .
so she will treasure any and all comments left by well wishers . . . of which she has many . . . even though spock is apparently not one of them . . .
she will not respond to the comments but simply hit the little approve button . . . every so often when she feels strong enough to sit at the command central post here and catch up with the world outside. and so that the commenters will at least know that she saw them and is TRUELY GRATEFUL. the captive realizes that she has more wonderful friends here than she ever thought possible.
the captive is now free except for days of follow up appointments with her torturers. starting on the 1st of october.
she is glad to be alone in her little wren house to rest and recuperate. and the marine is just a phone call away if she needs him.
it feels so good to her to just be back home. HOME. a magic little word.
the captive wishes to state for the record here . . . it was not a piece of cake after all. she’s thinking it was more like the cheetah attack. LOLOL. who knew?
but she is happy to be alive if not so well. and soon will be well. and she is VERY happy for one grumpy anesthesiologist who knew EXACTLY what he was doing and did it well.
end of captive log.
dated this day sept 21, 2013
going back to bed.
love and best wishes to all who read this.
and disappointment in YOU spock.
