you’ve heard about charley.
and if you read the daily peanut at all . . .
then you surely know about the captain’s two ship mates.
his two cats.
he rescued charley when hurricane charley blew through the keys.
poor tiny bedraggle scared to death little charley.
she found a home in paradise
on a sailboat in the keys.
she lives with the captain.
you never hear much about the other kitty. i called her ‘nameless.’
yes. sad. but what are ya gonna do? some kitties are just very private.
you know. about their private lives.
well. the captain has just taught me another thing about wordpress.
and in doing so he had me upload a picture of ‘nameless.’
turns out she (he?) is not nameless at all.
her name is KC.
i thought it stood for kitty cat. how stupid of me.
first of all. not necessarily the rugged captain pirate type name for a cat . . .
secondly . . . i was only wildly guessing.
her name is Keys Cat.
makes perfect sense! LOL.
little KC. your picture is nice and large now.
we can see those mesmerizing eyes.
and the nose. i love kitty noses. so perfect.
she is a tiny grey tiger. and don’t you forget it.
she’s saying . . .
“ok captain. enough playing on the computer.
time to put a shrimp on the barbee.”
ain’t life grand!
thanks capt. for the new lesson learned.
i’m gonna be a regular steve jobs before this is over.
well. or maybe a bill gates.
or . . .
well. heck. i’d settle for knowing how to
you know . . .
turn it on without written directions.
til soon old bean!
how could i forget to give you equal time?
i’m so sorry!
here you are . . .
and you’re lookin’ good!
stay dry charley. and out of harm’s way.
one hurricane in a little cat’s life is one too many!
